Join me & natural food chef CERI jones at THE BEAUTIFUL riverhill retreat near porto in portugal for a week long escape which will leave you feeling totally reconnected to your mind, body and soul.
Catering for all abilities, this retreat incorporates energising yoga, mindful movement and restorative practices all designed to provide you with a chance to reconnect to your mind and body. The flows will vary from day to day and are suitable for mixed abilities - whether you are a seasoned yogi or a relative newbie. With a strictly limited number of guests there will be plenty of opportunity for individual attention.
Our week will be spent at Riverside Retreat, in a tranquil location on the edge of the Rio Tamega on the doorstep of the Douro Valley.
The House is a 4 bedroom architecturally designed property which is positioned perfectly in order to immerse yourself in nature. There are many spots in the beautiful garden and next to the River which are perfect to relax and feel stillness.
For the more adventurous there is also the chance to explore the water in one of the private Kayaks, as well as many walks and nature parks nearby. The natural water infinity pool looks out over the River and the gardens are amazing to explore.
All meals will be vegetarian and utilise much of the local produce. There will be an abundance of colour and flavour in all dishes and specific dietary requirements can be catered for. Dishes will be designed to nurture the body during the weekend to ensure you feel energized throughout your stay.
All meals will be cooked by trained Natural Chef Ceri Jones. Ceri lovingly prepares all her meals using nutritious whole foods and is constantly inspired by making the most of seasonal and local produce. As an experienced yoga retreat chef (and a yogi herself), Ceri is fully equipped to understand and respond to the nutritional needs of feeding a group of yogis. Away from the yoga retreat kitchen, Ceri writes Natural Kitchen Adventures recipe blog, and teaches cooking in a wide range of places including the College of Naturopathic Medicine and Made in Hackney in London.

All activities are optional – this is your break and you can choose to do as much or as little as feels right for your mind and body.
8.30am - 10am Morning meditation and Yoga Flow
10.30am A filling, nourishing brunch
Free time / Daily activity - walk, workshop, excursion (an afternoon snack will be provided for you during the day)
5.30pm - 6.30pm restorative evening yoga flow and meditation
7pm Three course dinner.
Prices include all yoga, equipment, one local excursion, 7 nights accommodation and daily brunch, snack and dinner, apart from one evening out at a local restaurant. Prices DO NOT include transfers, flights and additional spending money.
Room 1 - Double Bed with Ensuite. Can be taken as a single occupancy or double occupancy (sharing bed). Price for one person £1395. Price for two people sharing per person £995 per person.
